Bio of Judge Richard G. Van Dyck, District Judge, Retired
Judge Van Dyck was appointed Special Judge for Grady County in 1995 by then District Judge James R. Winchester. In 1997, Judge Van Dyck was appointed District Judge for the Sixth Judicial District by Governor Keating. He was unopposed for 5 election cycles and retired in 2016. Since retirement he has served as an Appellate Officer for the Bureau of Indian Affairs and an Administrative Law Judge for the OSBI. Van Dyck is now fully retired and lives in Edmond with his wife, Cindy.
