About me
Judge Kaitlyn G. Allen grew up in Richardson, Texas and attended Kansas State University, where she became a member of Gamma Phi Beta and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Upon graduation from Kansas State, Judge Allen attended Oklahoma City University School of Law. After becoming a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Judge Allen joined the firms of Chris Smith Law, Cordell and Cordell, and Smith Simmons, ultimately concluding her private practice at Henry+Dow+Masters+Aycock+Allen.
Judge Allen was appointed by Governor Stitt to the 7th Judicial-District of Oklahoma, Oklahoma County, District 3, Office 2 in 2021. She currently serves as the Chief Juvenile Judge for Oklahoma County.
As a passionate advocate for her community, Judge Allen has served on the Board of Directors for Sharing Tree, held membership with the Junior League of Oklahoma City, and volunteered with the Oklahoma County Courthouse Access Clinic and the Alzheimer’s Association. She continues her commitment to public service through active membership in the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Inn of Court, the State Post Adjudication Advisory Review Board, Citizens for Juvenile Justice, and the Juvenile Justice Oversight Advisory Committee.
