About me
Trent H. Baggett is a 1975 graduate of Wayne High School in Wayne, Oklahoma. In 1980 he received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from East Central Oklahoma State University in Ada, Oklahoma. In 1983, he graduated with his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma, College of Law. From 1982 to 1983, Mr. Baggett was a legal intern with the Cleveland County District Attorney’s Office in Norman, Oklahoma. He spent eighteen (18) months as an assistant district attorney in the Oklahoma County District Attorney’s Office under the employment of Robert H. Macy. In May 1985, Mr. Baggett returned to the Cleveland County District Attorney’s Office where he was an assistant district attorney with a general case load until June 1997. In June 1997, Mr. Baggett was appointed the Assistant Executive Coordinator at the Oklahoma District Attorneys Council (DAC). At the DAC, Mr. Baggett has been involved in all aspects of the agency including budget development, conference planning, employee supervision, continuing legal education training, legislative assistance and drafting of legislation. In March 2017, Mr. Baggett was appointed as the Executive Coordinator of the DAC and remained so until his retirement in December 2021. He currently enjoys OU football, OU softball, golf and traveling.
Mr. Baggett has been married for thirty-five (35) years to the former Teresa Hodges of Oklahoma City. They have one daughter, Samantha, who is an Assistant District Attorney for District Attorney District 21 in McClain County.
