This session will explain what the term "Digital Forensics" means and what types of evidence it includes in modern day investigations. We will also go over the Digital Forensic Process as established using guidelines and recommendations from professional organizations such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Scientific Working Group in Digital Evidence (SWGDE), International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS), and American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS).
